OKMULGEE, OK (KTRK) --A soldier made an emotional return home to Oklahoma this month and all of it was caught on camera thanks to Redeemed Productions.
Jimmy Talbot is a warrant officer in the U.S. Army and had been overseas for 400 days. He left the country the same day his daughter left for her first day of college. When his wife, Laura got the call he was coming home, she wanted to make a big deal about it.
She wanted him to surprise his three daughters and his mother one by one. She reached out to Reedeemed Productions to film each emotional encounter.
They posted the video on their Facebook page and it's been shared more than nearly 2,600 times.
"There was definitely a lot of emotion in each surprise," said Redeemed Productions Cinematographer, Paige Bargas. "It was actually a little hard for us to film, as we had to stay focused and try to not get emotional ourselves!"
The video shows an heartwarming journey filled with tears, hugs and a lot of love.
"We are extremely grateful to have been a part of this exciting day, and even more grateful to have Jimmy fight for our country," said Bargas.
This is Jimmy Talbot's fifth return home, serving in the army for 28 years now.
