Wood, plastic, rubber contamination prompts Pilgrim's Pride chicken recall, again

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- You may want to check your freezer if you have any Pilgrims Pride pre-cooked chicken products.

The company's already massive recall is about to grow even bigger.

Pilgrims Pride is recalling an additional five million pounds of chicken products.

The food could contain pieces of wood, plastic, rubber or even metal.

The expanded recall applies to products made between May 6 and December 3 of last year.

You are urged to throw away or return the products.
