Woman injured in hit-and-run outside Kroger
A woman was injured in a Thursday night hit-and-run outside a Kroger grocery store in northwest Harris County.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman was injured in a Thursday night hit-and-run outside a Kroger grocery store in northwest Harris County.

It happened as the woman was crossing the parking lot of a Kroger off Kuykendahl and Louetta.

One witness tells abc13 that the victim is in her early 50s.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says her injuries consisted of a gash on her head and was unconscious briefly. They did not appear to be life threatening and she was taken to Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands.

Deputies believe they know who the driver was. They're following up on leads.
