JACKSONVILLE, FL (KTRK) --A clump of roaches spoiled one man's ride last month on a public bus in Jacksonville, Florida.
WFOX reports Elijah Williams was grossed out when he saw the roaches and called the bus company JTA.
Williams said, "One was crawling on my leg. ... I contacted the bus driver and she said contact JTA and I contacted them - very rude service but he said they would investigate it."
However, he says the roach problem persisted so he wrote to the bus company again on Facebook.
Public relations manager Leanna Rassler said a miscommunication about what bus was affected led to the delay in addressing the bugs.
She said, "We were like, 'What's going on here. We need to check this out'."
The bus company says the bus was eventually pulled from service and fumigated.
