Vehicle smashes hole in house in east Houston

HOUSTON -- A collision sent an SUV slamming into a house in east Houston.

According to Houston police, two vehicles collided in the 1000 block of Centerwood at Dawnwood, sending one vehicle crashing into the home, leaving a gaping hole behind.

Details are still not known why the accident happened, but the damage is clear as the homeowners begin trying to clean up the mess.

The SUV was towed from the scene. No injuries have been reported.
