When officers went into the apartment, they found the home had been ransacked.

The victim who is in his 30's was then discovered inside a back bed room. He was shot one time, and he died at the scene.

"There is evidence of drugs inside the house, but we are unsure if this is drug related or what the motivation for the home invasion was," HPD Sgt. Kevin Tolls says.

As for the suspects, police say they do not know who did this and they do not have any kind of vehicle description at this time.
