Thieves steal thousands of dollars in high-end shoes from store

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Surveillance video shows two men breaking into The Shoe Box in Southwest Houston.

"Somebody's going to get you," said store owner James Jones. "Somebody knows you are and we got you on camera."

Jones is only 24 years old. For years, he's been saving up money to open his dream store.

"We've only been open for a month, since January 2," Jones explained. "It's just we're a super small business and we finally got into a storefront and now this happens a month later."

Jones says the thieves got away with about $8,000 in shoes and clothes.

"I only sell shoes that are not in the store anymore and are very hard to get," he said.
