The stage is set for the GOP debate at the University of Houston.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Just hours from now, the University of Houston will host the five remaining GOP presidential candidates for a debate.

The Republican candidates started arriving in Houston Wednesday, and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Ben Carson and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio all made appearances around town.

But today is a different story. The candidates are expected to spend most of it preparing for tonight's debate, which begins at 7:30pm at the University of Houston's Moores Opera House at the Moores School of Music.

This will be the last time the candidates will meet before Super Tuesday, during which Texas will hold its primary election.
