At least three killed in storms sweeping Gulf Coast states

PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (KTRK) -- That storm system that produced a deadly series of tornados along the Gulf Coast is moving east.

It's bringing the threat of even more tornadoes to the Carolinas and parts of Virginia.

A gym was ripped apart in storms that blew through the Gulf Coast

There were nearly two dozen reports of tornados from Louisiana, all the way to the Florida panhandle.

The storm killed one person in Mississippi and two people in Louisiana.

In Prairieville, Louisiana, the storm ripped the roof off of a Gold's Gym, illustrating the devastating strength of the system as it moved into the eastern United States.
