Cinco Ranch students stranded by snow happy to be back home

KATY, TX -- In the thick of the winter storm along the east coast was a group of local students who are glad to finally be home.

The group from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy got stuck for three extra days in Washington DC, but Monday night was all about happy reunions with their families at Bush Intercontinental Airport. Those students told us they weren't worried about the snow at all, and this experience is something they'll remember for the rest of their lives.

Those students spent last week meeting politicians and seeing the nation's capital first hand. And their teacher says the snow storm just added a whole new dimension to the experience.
