Santa Fe teen found dead, run over on Baytown road

BAYTOWN, TX (KTRK) -- An 18-year-old Santa Fe woman was found dead in the middle of a Baytown road early this morning. Police say she appears to have been run over.

The woman, Madison Nicole Creagh, was found in the southbound lanes of Business 146 near South Alexander around 3:30am. It's unclear at this time how long her body was in the road.

Authorities are now looking at a light-colored Ford F-150 pickup truck nearby. Authorities towed it away from the scene. Police said the vehicle was registered to Creagh.

The investigation into the Creagh's death is ongoing.
