THE WOODLANDS, TX (KTRK) -- Authorities in Montgomery County are looking for a man possibly connected to the sexual assault of a teenage girl on a popular jogging trail.

Mark Allen Greeley, 27, was identified as a person of interest in that sexual assault that happened in the 4700 Block of Lake Woodlands earlier this month. Investigators say they've spoken with him, but still need to find 20-year-old Rexhep Rraci, who also goes by Rex Rossi.

The victim was a 14-year-old jogger. That was the third of a string of assaults on the trails since last summer.

"It is really scary," says Lori Pol.

Pol says she's had to change things up to feel safe on the trails.

"I wish we could go walk in the morning before the sun is blazing down. But unfortunately it's changed our routine just a little bit. We like to walk when it's light during the day," Pol said.

The first assault was in July near Flintridge and John Cooper. Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says an Asian man assaulted a woman and exposed himself during the encounter.

Then in December, near McCullough Junior High, a white male on a BMX-style bike, struck up a conversation with a woman. When she tried to end it, investigators say, he grabbed her by the hair and assaulted her. She fought him off.

"They were some months apart there. Things happen," says jogger Christine Clinkenbeard. "It didn't change anything."

But after the sexual assault involving that 14-year-old girl this month, Clinkenbeard says she stopped hitting the trails for a few weeks. She recently started back, but with some extra protection.

"I have a pit bull. And I started taking her with me. And my husband started going with me as well," she said.

She says more women have been walking and jogging in groups, herself included. And even when they catch the people behind these assaults, she says her trusty pit Iggy will still be with her.

"I would say that I'm not extremely concerned, I refuse to be victimized. I'll do whatever it takes not to be victimized even if that means taking my pit bull," Clinkenbeard said.

Rraci should be regarded as dangerous. Court documents show he was charged with assault and bodily injury of a family member last summer. There's also a warrant out for his arrest for a sexual assault of a nine-year-old in Conroe.
