A NY mom says a middle school principal tried to get her son to claim ISIS.

EAST ISLIP, NY (KTRK) -- A New York mom says a middle school principal tried to get her son to confess his allegiance to ISIS.

Nubaisha Amar says her son, Nashawn Uppal, was told to write a false confession saying he was a terrorist. She wants the two school administrators fired.

Uppal admits to telling his classmates that he was a terrorist and was going to blow the school fence up. But he says it was because he was being harassed and bullied at East Islip Middle School in New York.

He says he was brought into a room with the school's principal and assistant principal.

"He started yelling at me to write you are a part ISIS and you would blow up the school," Nashawn said.

He claims he was told by both principal's to write down he was a member of ISIS, a terrorist and would blow up the school. He also says he never told anyone he was part of ISIS.

Amar says police were called and her son questioned and their home was searched.

Police said they found no wrongdoing.

"Nothing makes sense and I was like I didn't have a second of a chance to talk to my son alone, what happened? This principal is supposed to call me," Amar said.

Amar believes that administrators harassed her son and fabricated their version of events.
