Woman dies in rollover crash on I-45 at N. Main

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police say high speed was a factor in a woman's death in an accident on I-45 northbound at North Main.

Police say the woman was speeding when she hit a concrete barrier of the HOV lane, which caused her car to hit a pillar of the North Main overpass. The impact flipped her silver car into the HOV lane.

An officer says her GPS was on in the back seat of the car, but he said he's not sure if the woman was distracted or not at this point.

Several lanes are closed at this hour.
