A man is accused of impersonating a police offer to get through traffic in the Atascocita area.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It was a little more than 24 hours ago when the Harris County Sheriff's Office says it was called to address a suspicious vehicle.

According to court documents, 28-year-old Taylor Thames is accused of impersonating a peace officer in order to get through traffic.

Thames didn't try to pull anyone over, but he was using red and blue lights and a siren, deputies said.

No injuries were reported.
