Ismaili community steps up to serve Harvey victims
Volunteers from Houston's Ismaili community have been working to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston's Ismaili community is stepping out to help neighbors in need after Harvey.

Volunteers from the group I-CERV spent Labor Day collecting and donating food, cleaning supplies, and other necessities for flood victims.

Their collection work comes after others have volunteered at Houston Food Bank, helped flood victims clean out their damaged homes, and by serving at various shelters around town.

You can learn how to help on their website, www.icerv.org.
