HPD: Woman stabbed in the face after suspects steal purse and car on Houston's southside

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman is recovering in the hospital after police say purse snatchers and car thieves stabbed her in the face at an apartment complex off Holly Hall on Houston's southside.

The woman told police she was robbed before she was stabbed.

The robbers took her purse along with her phone and the keys to her car.

Those suspects are still on the run with her car.
