Galleria-area hotel confirms worker missing after Harvey flood

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A Galleria-area hotel says one of its employees went missing after the flash flood emergency that hit Houston last week.

The Omni Houston Hotel said Jill Renick went missing last week as floodwaters rose around the hotel.

Houston police searched the area, and determined Renick was not inside the hotel or the parking garage.

The company said its thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
