Man killed while people leave north Houston movie theater

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is dead after an early morning shooting while people were leaving a movie theater.

It happened around 12:30 am at the Greenspoint Mall in north Houston.

Detectives say people were just coming out of the theater when someone fire at least five shots. When officers arrived, they then found a man dead in the parking lot.

HPD says it has a very limited description of the shooter. Police are asking for anyone who was leaving the theater and may have seen something to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. You can remain anonymous with your tip.
