How to recycle your Christmas tree in Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- With the holiday season coming to a close, the City of Houston is once again helping residents safely dispose of their Christmas trees.

Residents can recycle their trees from now until January 7.

In order to have your tree recycled it must be cleared of all decorations, ornaments, tinsel and lights.

A reminder: flocked trees can't be recycled.

There are 17 drop off locations all over town. Find the location nearest you.
