HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We put out a call on social media, and ABC-13 viewers shared with us their favorite dance floors in the city! From Salsa to two-stepping, with some EDM in between - there's a place for everyone on the Top 10 list!

Whiskey River

7637 W FM 1960

If you're looking for pure Texas Country wrapped in a high-energy package, Whiskey River might be the place for you. They say on their website that they aren't fancy, but they're one of the best country bars around.

Wild West

6101 Richmond Avenue

Wild West has been part of the bayou city for over 30 years. Two-Steppin' and Longneckin' is their motto. This true country nightclub was built and is operated by Texans and features a solid oak dance floor just for your boots!

Area 45

5900 North Freeway, Suite 140

Area 45 is one of the city's newest Tejano clubs, but it is getting rave reviews on its Facebook page!

Mo's Place

21940 Kingsland Blvd. - Katy

If you're in Katy and in the mood to go dancing, Mo's Place is open Tuesday through Sundays, with different drink specials each night. Mo's Place is also open for lunch each weekday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with drink specials and food specials. There is a daily special and they always have the "buy your first entree, get the 2nd at half price.

Stampede Houston

11925 Eastex Freeway - Houston

If Throwdown Thursdays, Get Up Fridays, and Jacked Up Saturdays sound like your thing, head to Stampede Houston! They're open until 3 a.m. so bring your best cowboy boots and get ready for a long night of dancing!

Club Tropicana

3222 Fondren Road at Richmond Avenue

Come and enjoy the hottest Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Latin tracks at Club Tropicana. The bar Features live Latin bands with lots of members playing a nice mix of tropical music. The Crowd? 20s to 30s and older from all over Latin America, the United States, and Mexico come for one reason - to dance. By the end of the night, you may have danced with people from all of Latin America.

The Black Swan

4 Riverway inside the Omni Hotel

The famed Black Swan at the Omni Houston Hotel has expanded and is more popular than ever. On weekends the atmosphere transforms to one of Houston's premier night clubs The Black Swan and The Nest at the Black Swan have long been known by locals as the post-wedding reception hot spot to dance the night (and early morning) away. If you're looking to crash a wedding, this is the place to go!

Barbarella

2404 San Jacinto Street

Barbarella promises good music and cheap drinks! The unique video dance club, has been a staple of the Austin night life scene since it's debut in October of 2009 and has been voted "Best Place to Dance."

Gloria's

2616 Louisiana Street, Suite 101

The Midtown restaurant turns into one of the most popular nightspots Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. There's live salsa music each of those nights with a $10 cover charge after 10 p.m.

Red Door

2416 Brazos, Suite C

Put on your best nightclub outfit and head to Midtown for Red Door's EDM music. There is a strict dress code, but once you're inside, the music is loud and the dance floor stays packed until the night is over!
