Proceeds from new Messina Hof wine go to Harvey relief
Proceeds from the sales of Resilience, Messina Hof's newest limited-edition wine, will be donated to Harvey relief efforts.

BRYAN, Texas (KTRK) -- All of the proceeds from Messina Hof's latest limited-edition wine will be donated to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

The winery says it hopes to raise $50,000 by selling 600 cases of Resilience, a dry red blend made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Malbec. It is available for purchase at Messina Hof wineries, online and in select grocery and liquor stores around Texas.

Proceeds will be donated to Feeding Texas and other charitable organizations.

"We feel incredibly blessed to be largely unaffected by the storm and recognize the long road ahead for many of our friends, family, business partners and customers. We intend do our part and hope that we can lend a hand through this product release," Paul Mitchell Bonarrigo, the winery's CEO, said.
