Bathing Beauties heat up the beaches of Galveston Island

GALVESTON, TX (KTRK) -- Highlighting the Galveston Island Beach Revue weekend is the crowd favorite, the Bathing Beauties Contest. Lovely ladies wow the crowd in retro swim wear with a vintage twist, and this year's competition did not disappoint. The contest, held Saturday, May 17, 2014, on Armed Forces Day, pays tribute to our nation's service men and women. And, as is tradition, a hula-hooping contest steals the show during a judging break.
