Noah Smith, a 7-year-old who lives in Tennessee, seems pretty excited to be the subject of his dad's experiment. The 'procedure' is quick and painless. Dad starts counting, but he takes the swing before getting to "three."

The boy seems surprised by the sensation of the pull, but he quickly recovers and starts looking for his tooth.

Some of those who commented where dad posted the moment on YouTube said he was irresponsible, but many said it looked like fun for Noah.

Either way, let's hope for Noah's sake that the tooth fairy gives extra money for being brave.
