Burger King is welcoming summer with free swirl ice cream cones for all its customers! Print the online coupon or show it to a cashier from your mobile device to receive a free cup of soft serve ice cream or cone. The coupon is good until Sunday, June 8.

Dunkin' Donuts has a sweet deal for National Donut Day. On June 6, participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants nationwide will offer guests a free donut of their choice with the purchase of any beverage. The north Houston Atascocita location, 18315 W. Lake Houston Pkwy, will host the "Donut Chowdown Challenge" from 10:30 a.m. - noon to help raise funds for victims of the recent Sunrise Apartments fire in the area. Contestants will participate in teams of three. Each team member will be asked to eat a dozen donut holes in a relay type fashion. The team that finishes the fastest wins!

Shipley's is also celebrating the holiday! Participating locations will be giving away a free glazed donut and small coffee to customers from 5 a.m. to noon on Friday. They will also be donating a portion of their sales from the day to The Salvation Army. Additionally, Shipley will be do donating donuts to three homeless shelters.

The Grove Donutz in Richmond are also giving away free glazed donuts to everyone who stops by Friday!

Moonlight Movies for Kids brings the dazzling, animated spectacle, "Frozen" to the plaza on a massive, 20 by 11-foot screen on Wednesday, June 11 at City Centre. The fun begins at 9 p.m., and you can enjoy free bags of popcorn while you watch.

Celebrate the best of Texas Squeezebox! Grab your dancing shoes and join Texas Folklife for the 25th Annual Accordion Kings & Queens Festival at Miller Outdoor Theatre! The star-studded affair is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30 a.m. -1 p.m. If tickets remain at 1 p.m., the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, there is open seating on the hill.

Celebrate summer on the Kemah Boardwalk this weekend for the "School's out for Summer Kickoff" and fireworks show. The firework display over Galveston is Friday at 9:30 p.m.
