Air New Zealand's latest video pays homage to The Hobbit Triology

Flight safety videos are typically so mundane that some of us can't even sit through the whole thing without losing focus. But everyone may be all ears for Air New Zealand's latest one.

On Wednesday, the airline posted on YouTube a video titled, 'The Most Epic Safety Video Every Made #airnzhobbit.'

The company says since it's the "official airline of Middle-Earth," it decided to go all out to celebrate the last installment of The Hobbit Trilogy, 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.'

The video not only spoofs the blockbusters inspired by J.R. R. Tolkien's books, but it also stars actor Elijah Wood and director Sir Peter Jackson.
