LOS ANGELES, CA -- A judge is expanding the powers of Casey Kasem's daughter to determine whether her father is receiving adequate medical care and says he still has concerns about the ailing radio personality's health and welfare.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Daniel S. Murphy ordered Kasem's wife to comply with court orders allowing doctors to evaluate her husband and allowing Kasem's daughter Kerri to see him.
Kerri Kasem was appointed her father's temporary conservator last week after Murphy was told the former radio host had been removed from the United States. Casey Kasem, who is suffering from dementia, was later found in Washington state with his wife.
A court appointed attorney and doctor for Casey Kasem has been unable to meet with the former "Top 40" host.
