The Rice Owls have turned to each other for help after Harvey.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Rice Owls football team are leaning on each other after Harvey.

Head coach David Bailiff told Eyewitness News that 12 of their players lost everything during the flash flood emergency.

Bailiff said 26 vehicles owned by team members were destroyed.

The coach said, however, it has been "heartwarming" to see the response of people trying to help the city of Houston, including his players, who have worked to help each other get back on their feet.
