Male body found in Walmart parking lot in La Marque

LA MARQUE, Texas (KTRK) -- The body of a 52-year-old male has been found at a Walmart in the city of La Marque, officials said.

According to police, the body was found at the store at 6410 Interstate 45 around 9:13 a.m. Sunday.

It is unknown if the male died as a result of health conditions or due to drowning. Police said the man is known to be homeless.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
