75-year-old Rosenberg man missing for days found dead in river

ROSENBERG, Texas (KTRK) -- Officials with Texas EquuSearch said they have found the body of missing 75-year-old Benito Gutierrez in the Brazos River.

Local authorities were reportedly searching for Gutierrez for days prior to finding his body.

Texas EquuSearch said they found the body just moments after beginning their search.

He was last seen on Thursday in Rosenberg.

There's no word on how he died.

Texas EquuSearch asked for everyone to keep his family and friends in their thoughts.
