2 in custody after wrong-way chase ends in crash in SE Houston creek

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Two people are in custody following a police chase that ended in suspects crashing into a creek.

Authorities said the chase initiated after officers tried to perform a traffic stop. Officers said the driver took off and even drove in the wrong direction at one point in the chase.

The suspects proceeded to go around a barricade and into the creek before the arrest.

According to police, the driver had a warrant out for his arrest.
