SEALY, Texas (KTRK) -- A train derailed in Sealy on Tuesday afternoon, blocking traffic at a railroad crossing on Highway 36.
According to Sealy police, several cars from a Union Pacific train came off the tracks between 2nd and Main Street, but all remained upright. The train, which contained several dozen cars, appeared to be carrying gravel.

No injuries have been reported. The derailment caused minor road damage.
Highway 36 reopened around 5:15 p.m.
