Deputies are still searching for one suspect following a violent carjacking in north Harris County.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One suspect is behind bars and another is still on the run following a carjacking outside of a north Harris County home.

Investigators said two armed suspects pulled up to a home on North Camden Parkway around 2 a.m. One suspect, armed with a gun, approached a woman and stole her vehicle.

Surveillance video shows a young woman walking to her car around the same time the two suspects drive up. Next, you see one suspect speeding off in the woman's car.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, a deputy spotted the suspects and the stolen vehicle outside of a corner store on Northborough Drive and Rush Creek Boulevard just moments after the robbery.

The deputy tried to stop the vehicles but both drivers sped away.

HCSO said the suspect driving the victim's car crashed and was taken into custody. The other suspect drove away, HCSO says they are still looking for that suspect.

Family members of the victims tell Eyewitness News that deputies have returned some of their stolen items.
