Woman involved in standoff on Fountain View in custody

SWAT officers were called to the area of Fountain View and Westheimer for a call of a barricaded woman.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- SWAT took a woman into custody after they say she barricaded herself inside an apartment near Fountain View and Westheimer this morning.

The barricade was reported around 3 a.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Fountain View.

Police did not immediately disclose what led to the barricade.

Info on how the standoff ended was also not immediately available.
