In compiling the list, the magazine examined each city's job market, cost of living, crime rate, quality of education and quality of healthcare.
The good news for Texans? The Lone Star State is well represented on this year's ranking, with San Antonio ranking 23rd, Houston ranking 20th, Dallas-Fort Worth coming in at 15th and Austin topping the list.
