Woman killed in hit-and-run crash on Little York Road, Houston police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities are looking for the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run crash in southeast Houston on Monday night, the Houston Police Department said.

Police said a woman in her mid-20s was walking or sitting on Little York Road near North Wayside Drive when a gray or black sedan hit her and fled the scene.

Witnesses saw the crash, officers said.

HPD said there was very little debris at the scene, leaving officers unable to identify the vehicle's make or model.

An investigation is ongoing.
