Suspect charged with murder in shooting death of man in SW Houston apartment complex, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Charges have been filed against a suspect accused of fatally shooting a man to death in a southwest Houston apartment complex, according to authorities.

On Wednesday, 38-year-old Quinntin Senegal was charged with murder in the shooting death of 45-year-old Kevin Moore.

At 8:45 p.m. on July 17, Houston police say officers responded to the shooting at 12615 Brookglade Circle.

Upon arrival, officers found Moore lying in the common area of the apartment complex with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Police say that Moore was taken to an area hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics, where he was pronounced dead.



Witnesses told police that they heard several gunshot wounds in the vicinity immediately prior to finding Moore.

Police say that Senegal was charged on Aug. 19, and he was arrested on Sept. 5 in St. Martinville, Louisiana. He is awaiting to be extradited to Harris County, according to law enforcement.
