Murder suspect, 31-year-old Katia Bougere, showed up for his court hearing after records show he was indicted for the murder of Abdul Waziri by a grand jury last month.
In court on Tuesday, prosecutors say Bougere confronted Waziri multiple times during a parking spot dispute at an apartment complex on Ocee Street in west Houston in April.
Bourgere wasn't arrested -- instead, court records show he was issued a summons.

Bougere's defense attorney says he was just trying to defend himself and is cooperating.
Last week, ABC13 spoke to former prosecutors who said they'd never seen or heard of a summons in a murder case before.
The Harris County District Attorney's Office didn't immediately say how it planned to proceed in the case or why it's treating this case differently.
