The calls come after Bell was arrested and charged with indecent exposure on Friday after police say he exposed himself inside an office building in Angelton.
"You have proven to be disgraceful, incompetent," a resident stated.
While some hope he steps down, others are waiting for the legal process to play out.
"I do not support his resignation," another resident said. "I believe he should remain in office and allow the legal process to run its course."
At the time, the city called the arrest "shocking."
"To the residents of La Marque, we recognize that this is a shocking and disheartening development during a period that has already brought significant uncertainty and challenges to our community. We understand and share your concerns," a press release stated.
Bell has not commented on the allegations or his arrest.
