HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One man was killed, and four others were injured in a southeast Houston shooting overnight Saturday, police said.

According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting happened in a gas station parking lot on Cullen Boulevard, unofficially known as "Club Chevron," where people gather overnight to smoke and drink.

Police said when officers arrived, they saw hundreds of people in the parking lot and heard two shooters.

Officers said one man was fatally shot, at least two men were shot and injured, and one man was beaten up during the shooting. Investigators said they are still trying to determine how the fifth victim was injured.

Investigators said they do not have a suspect description, but are waiting for businesses to open so they can review their surveillance footage.
