And not only is this another accusation of sexually assaulting a minor, but records show this new charge has been filed and dismissed before.

Johnny Ray Green already has multiple felony convictions, according to records.

Court documents show that multiple cases have been dismissed, with prosecutors saying witnesses have gone missing or refused to cooperate.

Green was arrested Monday and is currently being held without bond, according to court records.

On Wednesday, Harris County prosecutors charged him with continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14.

Court records show prosecutors accused Green of abusing the child in 2018 and 2019. Then they said he threatened to kill her if she disclosed it.

Wednesday's charge is a re-filed charge. Previous charges in relation to this case were dismissed twice over the years, records show.

The District Attorney's office did not provide an explanation for what changed and why this charge has now been re-filed.

Court documents show Green was also charged in 2018 with punching and choking a 14-year-old who was trying to stop him from hitting the child's mother.

Records state that, in that case, the mother wouldn't cooperate, and that case was also dismissed.

Court documents show Green has been charged with picking up a 15-year-old in September 2025 while she was leaving Dekaney High School, where she is a student.

Court documents show she said he forced her into his house, violently raped her, and later dropped her off at a Wendy's Restaurant near the school.

She said she walked back to school and called the police.

The 15-year-old, according to police, has received medical attention.

Green is expected back in court on Thursday.

Prosecutors said they will ask the judge to continue to deny bond for him.
