HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police said they are waiting on autopsy results for a man who was found dead on the west side Monday evening.
According to the Houston Police Department, someone spotted the victim's body in a grassy area by the south bank of the Addicks Reservoir near the North Eldridge bridge, a little after 6 p.m.
Investigators said the body was in an advanced state of decomposition and there were no obvious signs of trauma.
The victim's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The investigation is ongoing.
