HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway at Freedom Park after reports of a body found in the area following reports of gunfire, according to the Houston Police Department.
Details are limited, but HPD said someone called 911 and said they heard gunshots in the area.
At one point during the investigation, officials said a body was found in the area. It is unclear if the body is related to the gunfire that was heard.
There is no word at this time if there are any suspects or who the deceased person is.
