HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Police Department has released the body-worn camera video of a shooting at a Sam's Club along the East Freeway that killed a suspect back in April.

The man was suspected of dressing up as a security guard and firing shots inside a Sam's Club. He has been identified as Obed Flores Trujillo.

The body-worn cameras show Trujillo had barricaded himself inside a Sam's Club office, and was apparently firing out, when officers shot and killed him.

Body-worn camera footage from multiple officers shows them arriving at the Sam's Club late on the evening of April 25. They work their way from a back door through several store aisles before arriving at the office that already had a window shattered by bullet holes.

"Houston police, where are you at? I don't want to do this," exclaimed one officer with his weapon drawn. "Come on!"

Then, visible on multiple body-worn cameras, several officers are seen approaching the shattered window, yelling at the man to surrender and come out.

However, it appears from the video that the man fires at least one shot toward officers, and then multiple officers return fire.

After the first round of shots between the suspect and the police, officers can be heard assessing the scene, before a second round of gunfire erupted

Moments later, police opened the office door, and seeing that Trujillo had been shot multiple times, began to treat him. He died from his injuries.

Social media posts appearing to be from Trujillo's family in Mexico indicate they didn't know what happened to him after April 25, and were actively looking for him by posting on Facebook.
