An 18-wheeler carrying a load too tall for its trailer prompted police to shut down I-10 near downtown Houston on Tuesday.
TranStar cameras showed the 18-wheeler stopped on the eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway eastbound near Hogan Street with too tall a cargo on its trailer that appeared to be too tall.
Cameras later showed police stopping traffic on I-10 eastbound to escort the 18-wheeler in the wrong direction on the freeway.
Authorities later allowed eastbound traffic to pass as they continued escorting the 18-wheeler off the freeway, according to TranStar images.
