According to police, the shooting happened at about 1:15 a.m. along Crane Street near East Lane.
HPD said officers found a man in his 40s shot in the face along the feeder road. A second person, in his 20s, was reportedly found crashed in the ditch and was also shot in the face.
Investigators said a third man, also in his 40s, told officers he heard gunshots in the area, got out of his car, and was shot in the leg.
"One of the witnesses is telling us that the individual that crashed out at the feeder road...was coming up and down Crane and showed a pistol to several people. (He) evidently was talking a lot of trash," HPD Lt. R. Willkens said.
Police said both cars were found with bullet holes. Weapons were also found in one of the vehicles, according to HPD.
HPD says they're still trying to figure out who shot who.
Police said the two men shot in the face were taken to the hospital. The third man, according to investigators, was taken to the hospital by his brother.
The shooting remains under investigation.
