Tuesday, March 14, 2017
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Outback Steakhouse just released a beast of an appetizer. It's an upgrade to its popular Bloomin' Onion.

If you're on a diet, you may not want to see this. But we must warn you that it looks crazy delicious.

Outback Steakhouse's massive new menu item is called the 3-point Bloomin' Onion. It includes Aussie fries topped with Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, bacon and chunks of sirloin steak. And of course, its signature "bloom sauce."

And in case you're wondering, the dish is 3,080 calories and is meant for six people to share, according to ESPN sports writer Darren Rovell. The regular Bloomin' Onion is just under 2,000 calories.

The huge appetizer costs $12.99.
