HOUSTON (KTRK) -- For Astros fans in New York today, it was all about sightseeing and killing time.

In the middle of the chaos and characters of Times Square, a few from Houston.

"It's going to be exciting," Astros fan Domingo Villarreal said.

Sporting their Astros caps and gear are Angelo and Amanda Castro, who extended their trip just so they could be part of this historic moment.

"We were supposed to be leaving today but we stayed and extra night so we could go to the game," Castro said.

Their friends flew in this morning with confidence in their team.

"We're going to both games because we're going to sweep," Villarreal said. "We're doing today, tomorrow and then we're going back home with the win."

They've already heard the trash talk from Yankees fans who are ever present.

The sweetest comeback, they say: a good performance on the field.

"We took out Boston, the Yankees and the Dodgers, all of them in one year, that'd be awesome," Angelo Castro said.

It is hard not to get too far ahead of ourselves, and hopefully our boys won't.

Astros fans traveled to the Big Apple but our news crew hasn't seen them out in droves yet at Yankee Stadium.

That is expected to change as the first pitch takes place in New York for Game 3 of the ALCS.
