Organizers announced plans to move the event to March 24-25 and to rename it the In Bloom Music Festival. The thing that will not change is the location: Eleanor Tinsley Park along Buffalo Bayou is set to host.
According to organizers, the name change also came about in light of the music festival combining the efforts from founders of the original Free Press Summer Fest and Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Fifty performers are slated to perform on four stages of the 10th anniversary mid-year event.
In rescheduling the annual event, organizers alluded to the misfortune of FPSF's past.
"We are always looking to improve the experience for the fans, and after the last few years of challenges with Mother Nature, moving our dates to the spring made sense," said one of the event's founders, Jagi Katial.

While no acts have been announced yet, presale general admission and VIP tickets are on sale at the In Bloom Music Festival website.
