Deputies responded to the 4800 block of Park Square Lane near Water Edge Point Lane in response to a shooting just a few minutes before noon on Friday.

At the scene, they found two men between 20 and 30 years old, dead with gunshot wounds, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said. They were found at the intersection, next to a black sedan.

Home surveillance video captured a heated argument Friday, moments before several men were shot.

Tareka Lockhart said her son, Brionne Lockhart, and her nephew, Tymerick Griffin, died in the shooting.

The third man is her son, Breavian Lockhart, who's in the hospital.

Initially, Gonzalez said two other wounded victims drove themselves to the hospital. However, in an update, he said a third victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance. That victim is said to be in critical condition.

"I called Breavian's phone and he said 'Brionne and Tymerick got shot and I think one of them dead,'" Tareka recalled.

Eventually, the sheriff's office confirmed the news to her.

"I feel blank," she said. "I don't know how to feel. It's crazy."

Investigators are still working to figure out the connection between the victims and who shot them.

"It's possible this may stem from an earlier disturbance that eventually escalated to a shooting here," Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

Tareka believes law enforcement knew about the threats she says her family had been receiving.

"And they didn't do nothing," she said. "Now, they are forced to do something. But why did you have to wait until this time to do something?"

It's not clear yet who or how many suspects detectives believe are involved.

Sheriff Gonzalez said there were at least 10 shots.

"We do believe it was a gunfire exchange that was very likely," he said. "So, probably multiple guns at least or at least a couple of guns that were utilized."

No arrests had been made, according to Gonzalez.

Tareka said Breavian and Tymerick were walking to a job interview and to get food, and Brionne caught up with them right before they were shot.

She says they were a loving family.

"Good boys, with them being grown, every time they get up first thing in the morning, 'good morning, Mama. I love you, give me a kiss,'" Tareka said.

She said she's going to miss those kisses.
